Continuous improvement

We have implemented Lean Six Sigma methods and tools in our business to create a dynamic working culture and to achieve significant improvements in our internal systems and processes. Lean Six Sigma combines rigorous application of statistical tools with employee involvement and a strong team ethic.

We also seek continuous improvement in our environmental performance by more efficient use of energy and resources, minimising the environmental impact of our activities and of any waste generated, and the safe and responsible disposal of residual wastes.

Quality standards

Our manufacturing plants in Germany, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China and the USA are certified to ISO quality standard 9001.  In addition, France is certified to ISO/TS 16949.

We operate throughout all countries and facilities as ‘One AZ’ - sharing information, expertise and best practice to ensure consistency of quality and service levels for our customers throughout the world.

Safety, health and the environment

We provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees and visitors. We also act to minimise any adverse environmental impact of our operations.
